Commander Ted Loyd
Ted Lloyd originated from Cumberland, Wisconsin where he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1968. He became a crew chief of C-130B aircraft located at Clark AFB, Philippine Island where missions were out of Camaron Bay, Vietnam. He then spent a year with the 16th SOS, Spectre, AC-130 Gunships located at Ubon, Thailand. He is a retired faculty member of EKU after 29.8 years and owned a manufacturing consulting company for 15 years. Became the VFW Post 7098 Adjutant in 2018 and transitioned to the Commander’s position in 2020 for 3 years. He returned to become the Commander again in 2024 to the present.
